JER is a custom compounder. The Company offers its clients custom-engineered solutions using a variety of recycled or prime olefin polymer, cellulose fiber and additive combinations.
JER offers injection molding grades using PP, HDPE, PS and TPO and can formulate a unique blend for you. JER also offers a range of extrusion products based on PP, HDPE and PS formulas. These products range in fiber (wood or rice hull) concentrations between 10 and 45%. These formulas are optimized to provide excellent processing results without requiring additional polymer to achieve the desired fiber levels. The fully compounded formulas can be made with virgin polymer bases or can be compounded using recycled polymers if preferred.
A Variety of Options
In the development of your unique compound, JER can introduce one or more of the following additives upon request:
- UV stabilizers
- Colorants
- Fire retardants
- Mold/fungus inhibitors (although the material has excellent moisture barrier properties and is already very resistant to mold, fungus and pests)
JER's research and development team can create a thermoplastic biocomposite formulation that will meet your application requirements. Masterbatch Capabilities
JERtech® formulations can be master batched very effectively. With fiber loadings of up to 60%, JER's clients can blend the material down on site to save transport costs, input costs or maintain proprietary processing intelligence.
